Yesterday, excitement began early in the am. I thought we were going to have a very busy day readying Pearl for finally pulling away from the dock, hoisting her sails and launching our adventure. All mechanical equipment is working well, spares have been vacuum sealed to keep watertight, main food supplies are on board. And then…… the weather turned and we do not have enough time to depart Key West and make it safely across the Gulf Stream to Bimini. So …. for now, we remain tied at the dock! We are waiting for our next weather window which now appears to be early next week. Meanwhile, HARLEY is depressed and acting annoyed with his Parents.
