Sailing Pearl: Travels on a Beneteau Oceanis 373
''Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.'' – Mark Twain
Pearl’s new Dinghy — not really, but looks like a fun toy! http://t.co/7AHfnX6
Pearl also has been upgraded with an AC because the Hurricane Hole doesn’t have much breeze but does have a bunch of mosquitoes!!!
Pearl has a new temp (secret!) home at a former Submarine base in the Keys. The location is a great “hurricane hole.”
New chapter begins today: sailing solo! I’ve always wondered about this, so time to find out.
Denise is off to the Bahamas. I’m in Miami messing with the Pearl’s power systems. Yippee! NOT!
In Miami. Debugging electrical system. Looks like the battery charger is dead.
En route from Venice to Cabbage Key! http://t.co/XEnqYKK
Misplaced my wallet on the boat. Super annoying!!! Or I hope its on the boat.
Aaaah! Sails up. No engine! Nummy!!! http://t.co/wSrfRBO
In case you missed it, we had to reroute to Panama City due to weather and are about to be Tampa bound again shortly.
Prepping to leave Panama City 1200ish. It’s been both excellent (fishing!!!) and excruciating (the head glitched and I had to fix it).
